Happy New Year from Nae the Kpop Junkie

Nae is a Fool

Happy New Year, everyone!

As you have probably noticed, I have not blogged about Kpop in some time, and part of that is just because last year I sucked at keeping a good schedule for any writing activities I had. I just started university this past semester, and on top of that I had a lot of things happen in my personal life that affected me pretty deeply.

This is the second time I’ll be writing for this blog somewhere around the New Year, and I won’t be releasing a “favorite songs of 2017” mainly because I didn’t pay attention enough to Kpop to tell you what my favorites could have been this year. In fact, a lot of the stuff I liked this year were things I discovered just before the end of the year because I’ve been so far behind. And besides, rather than write a review of the year where I did not pay attention too much, I imagine that I’ll be writing about some of those things eventually.

But, the year is 2018, and this year I want to revamp this blog again. I was reading through some of the views that I’ve had on my blog posts for the past few months, and I didn’t realize how many people were actually reading my blog posts. Like, some of them had 200+ views on them, which I hardly expected when I started this thing. Among my shouting into the void my opinions on Kpop, I had some people who were willing to listen to it, even if they never commented or gave this blog a follow. Just the fact that people have been viewing my work makes me so happy, and I can’t thank those people enough for taking a look at my stuff.

As 2018 goes by, I really hope that we all have an amazing year, and may I hold myself to the standard of actually blogging frequently throughout the year instead of blogging for a week and then leaving for a few months at a time. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to write more on this blog, and this is going to be one of those times! I hope you enjoy, and I hope to see you on the next blog post!
